How nice is this Scrunchie!!!
I've had this design in the back of my head for a while now and I finally got to do it!
Looks super delicate and this stitch is quite stretchy so I really loved the final look.
Materials:
5mm hook
Scissors
Darning needle
Hairband
You can use any yarn you prefer, but for this specific scrunchie I used:
Hobbii Yarn
Content: 100% cotton 8/6
Weight: 50 g (1.75 oz)
Length: 105 m (115 yds)
Yarn Weight: Sport
Instructions
After choosing the type of yarn you'll be using for this scrunchie, you need to crochet a 10cm chain.
Row 1: Closed half double crochet in each chain across, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: Closed half double crochet back loop only in each stitch across, ch 1, turn.
Repeat row 2 until you reach the desired length.
Next you will be sewing your project around the hairband, all the way to end and then join the beginning and end together and done!
I hope you enjoyed this mini tutorial because I really loved making this scrunchie and such a quick and easy too!
Don't forget to tag me when you make it so I can see it!
